Hamline University School of Law Student Newspapers
Midwestern Advocate was Midwestern School of Law’s student newspaper from 1973-1975, when it became Hamline University School of Law. It ceased publication, and the name was later taken up by the Hamline Advocate, an alumni publication.
Hamline Legalese was Hamline University School of Law’s student newspaper from 1981 to at least 1984.
Both newspapers were independently published by students of Midwestern and Hamline Schools of Law.
This digital collection is maintained by the staff of the Warren E. Burger Library of Mitchell Hamline School of Law.
Disclaimer: These newspapers reflect the attitudes, perspectives, and beliefs of different times. Neither the library nor the school endorses the views expressed in these collections.
We are missing several issues of both Midwestern Advocate and Hamline Legalese from our collection.
